Unqualified

When your hands are tight and unable to help frustrations set in your heart and soul. This feeling can bring more pains and struggles when your goals and guidelines are unclear. 

Four days ago, two children came and wanted to join the Home. But, we are unfit to take them. The older boy is suffering from HIV positive and the younger has some physical defects. Our hearts wanted to help them but we are incapable. We are not prepared for this and we are unskilled to take in such responsibility. 

We don't want to send them hopeless but, we soothingly and comfortably ask them their contact information so, we can refer them to another orphanage that can help them better than us. 

Although we are incompetent to help others but hopefully May we be able to help more in the future in our own capability. In God's perfect time. 

It's been awhile...

Change is apparent. It can happen instantly or immediately. Sometimes, it will caught us by surprise. But, most of the time, we don't want changes especially if we are comfortable with our situation or happy. We hold back, trying to stay where we are happy. The truth is, there will always be changes. We like it or not, it will come knocking at our doorstep. Prepared or not? It will come.

Years have passed, countless changes came. Some children come and go. Some left a hole in our hearts. Some left memories of happiness as well as sadness. Yet, we still move on... Why? Because when one child is old enough and have stronger wings to fly, another two or three cold,sick weak hatchlings will come to take refuge in our nest.

We will move on and embrace more challenges and changes to triumph in each life that will come into our lives.
